Tonight was the first of the Sunday night rides. The ride itself was really enjoyable, but we had three crashes that were not. The first was a guy decided to turn on his taillight while riding. His wheel went off the trail and he went down very hard. We were just south of TR and it was around dusk. In TR he was complaining of shoulder pain. When we left TR another guy fell behind so I went back to see what was going on. We caught the group on south of TR and the same guy had wrecked again. We rode onto the railroad car at Furman and he called his wife to come get him. We rode around the lake at Furman and when we got back to the car he was gone.
We rode on down the trail and just south of Washington another guy wrecked. He just rode off the side of the trail and went down. The flashlight headlight worked pretty well for me.
