Ride Description: Saw a Grey Wolf on the way to Hayward.
Legs were still weak, I used my granny quite a bit. I didn't ride very smooth on the way out, but was smoother on the way back.
I bought some Shot Bloks and planned to have "lunch" on the trail, but I forgot to zip my CamelBak and lost them on the way out. Still had a Clif Shot in there.
After the first couple miles of handmade technical singletrack, The Makwa Trail turns into the AutoBahn. The machine built section is a little wider and has fantastic flow! So much so, that on the way out it felt like it was mostly downhill. But it was even faster on the way back! Great trail. I think Sue will like this one.
Met the Cindy's again at the parking lot. I hope they didn't notice me worshiping humbly in their presence. |
