 Slow Night Ride
Tonight's night ride had a mostly new crew - Ken, Susan, Trike Steve, Don (an older rider), three younger riders - Bradley, Brinson, and Kate, and me. We rode along at a very slow pace with Ken stopping often for his "smell the roses" tour. After crossing the bridge after Cedar Lane Steve's light tower fell off and nearly wiped me out. He lost three blinky lights off the tower and we found two of them. Then at Sulphur Springs Kate didn't get unclipped and fell over. Ken also took the group around the lake at Furman and Don did an endo coming away from the bathroom by the lake. Once back on the trail Don was struggling to keep up, so he and I fell pretty far back. When we turned back south, Don went off and left the group. We slowly made our way back down the trail and into the park.
