Ride Description: RACE. Woooo Hoooo! My first road bike race! Wow! What a blast! Slight Chest tightness on the 4.5 mile climb at the start (With a head wind.), but I settled in and actually started passing people on the climb. What a great fun course. With 8 miles to go on Hwy 63, it was mostly downhill. I pulled Sue and a couple other women to town. Where they all left me in the final sprint just before the White Church turn and final straightaway. That was fun! Computer Time: 01:55:11 / 16.08 MPH AVG. (16.24 using Official Race Time)
OFFICIAL RACE TIME: 01:54.02.8 / 17.4 MPH (Official Course Mileage 33 miles.)
