 Back Over the Mountain
I was going to ride Fairforest/ICAR this morning but decided to try climbing the Greenville side of Paris Mountain. I am carrying a little extra weight and figured the mountain would be a real challenge. The Greenville side of PM isn't as steep as the TR side except for a short section of 22% grade that is known as the wall. I broke the wall but it about broke me as well. My legs were really shaky and took a little bit to recover. Even though it was slow and shaky I survived and see the need to attack it more often. Once off the mountain and onto the SRT I headed for the house, but saw that I was going to be 1/2 mile to a mile short of a quarter, so I went through town and back to the Y to get over 25 miles.
