Legs were a little better than yesterday and didn't dread mounting the bike but wasn't looking to do any hammering either. Opted for the Sullivinville course with its two early climbs and sloth forgiving tailwinds on the back nine. First climb up New Odessa was less than inspiring and in the old days I would have turned back and headed home as it just wasn't happening. Kept spinning to Alpine and did quite a bit better on the second climb up Sullivinville Hill on SR 13. Didn't do any hammering on the downhill but kept up enough speed to recover some of the time lost on the first climb. Still my slow time to the top of the second climb was better than the average time on the same course last fall, so time wasn't really that bad. Ride from Horseheads back to Montour was brisk, but legs were running on empty over the last couple of miles. Fairly easy miles and legs seemed to be recovering fairly well from Saturday's activity.
