Just the morning loop - had to get home & get ready to go to Michael & Melissa Hodges' wedding.
Headed out a 8:07 AM, hoping to complete the loop in about 4 hours. Well, thanks to the heat and my lack of fitness most of the last three+ weeks, that didn't happen. Oh well. Got back to the start/finish around 1:20 PM.
Avg at first reststop 13.8 - it was sluggish going into that south wind.
Avg at 2nd stop (and heading down Hwy J a couple miles) 15.0 - rolling hills were milder & the tail wind helped!
Avg at 3rd was 15.2.
Then dealing with the excessive(?) heat and heading into the wind on a few segments pulled the avg down a little on the last leg.
