I've Got Something to Say

3:00 AM MST - first alarm goes off. I set the alarm on my cell phone for 3, 3:10, and 3:15 just in case I turned the first one off and fell back to sleep
3:20 - finished checking out of the hotel, now waiting for my cab that I called yesterday to arrange for a 3:30 pick up.
3:35 - called the cab company asking about my pick up. The guy was given the wrong hotel to pick up, said he be here in 3 minutes.
3:45 - at the train station, waiting in line for the ticket counter to get the bike box I left here upon arrival Friday morning. There is one clerk finishing up with an older couple working on some details to get their grandson on the train. There are two other young men in front of me in line.
3:55 - clerk still finishing up with older couple...
4:00 - couple done, now one of the two guys in front of me asks the clerk a question, gets a fairly quick answer and their done; my turn finally!
4:10 - bike is boxed & checked, also check my main travel bag, so now I just need to carry the laptop case & the other duffle bag.
4:55 - train finally arrives (10 min late). Along with a dozen or so passengers, there is also a group of about 20 youth and only one chaperone/leader that I can notice. As I stand at the door to one of the coach cars waiting for the conductor to finish assisting a couple elderly couples, he then asks for the group leader to start boarding them as he walks past me. I'm not too plesaed, and I interrupt him and asks if they are boarding on down on the last car, where a couple passengers stepped out for a smoke. He hands me a slip of paper with the #4 on it - my seat assignment. I start to climb up in the car, and he tells me its for the next car...OK.
8:30 AM MDT - pull into Gallup, NM
