It has been nearly 6 weeks since my last ride. Between the continual rain, several weeks of a nasty lung congestion, and other commitments I haven't been able to get on the bike. Within the first half mile I knew that my lefs were wasted. I slogged along but really hit the wall at 7 1/2 miles. It took about a half mile to recover and I comtinued along. They have made a lot of progress on the Swamp Rabbit Station. Also Fisher is much smoother since they repaved it. The trail has taken a beating from the weather and downed trees. All ofmthe rain has put the swamp back in the Swamp Rabnit Trail. The swamp has beena dry swamp bed for years, but it has returned to a swamp state. Jenn wasn't at the Creamery which is just as well as my legs weren't up to stopping then starting back up.
