I went to the SCTAC for the Spinners Tuesday evening ride. Again I left early and rode alone on the 32 mile ride. The ride was fairly uneventful, although they are doing construction on West Georgia Road, so I had to wait in a long line of cars as traffic was one lane only. Once on Perimeter Road I meet the B group and there was a tandem riding in the group.j About a mile later I meet the A group and Lou called out to me. I stopped at the club house to drink a bottle of Gatorade then met the B group again by the 4th green. At the end I met the remains of the A group that had just finished and guys were rolling out to cool down. Lou was toward the front of the group and he turned around and we tootled back in together. He was looking for a bottle of water and I had a spare in the truck so we went to it and I gave it to him. Then we chatted as we hadn't seen each other in about 5 or 6 weeks. He was on annual then in school and now I'm on annual.
