Took a couple days off to try to get out of my funk and rest the legs before this upcoming demanding weekend combining a century tomorrow and a hilly road race on Sunday. Drove up to the Westfield, NY KOA today and took a short flat ride west on RT 5 along Lake Erie. Didn't feel much like riding again today but ended up deciding to do at least fifteen. Headed out into the nasty headwind for eight miles then made a U-turn and headed back. Felt pretty good on the back nine with the tailwind and finished in good spirits. Weather forecast looks good and hopefully the wind will die down or it will be a hard day tomorrow.
