 Johnson Hollow
Another Friday ride around the Johnson Hollow route to test the bike and the legs before tomorrow's trip and event. Weather was on the cool side and air is starting to get a bit crisp which isn't unwelcome yet it forebodes less pleasurable weather is on the way. Pace was on the slow side on the upgrade to Millport as legs felt heavy and worn. It wasn't totally unexpected after yesterday's hard effort. After a less than stellar climb the legs finally loosened up and the riding became more enjoyable. Continued with the easy pace throughout the remainder of the ride and coasted as much as possible. Despite poor average speed legs were feeling pretty good at the end of the ride but not enough too try to pick up the average over the last few miles with a century on tap for tomorrow.
