 Campbell's Covered Bridge
Today was the ride from North Greenville University to Campbell's Covered Bridge and back. I stayed behind to ride with Ken, Steve, Mark, Kimberly, and Elissa. We had a lot of fun riding and swapping stories. We rode at a very slow pace, but finally arrived at the Bridge for some water and fruit. Steve was wanting to head out, but Ken, Mark, and Elissa were down in the creek. I made sure that Kimberly would stay with Elissa, then Steve and I headed out. We rode along carrying on and we missed a turn, but I realized as soon as we missed it. We had a good time, but the heat was oppressive. Once back I pedaled around the grounds to finish off a quarter, changed my clothes, and settled in to a barbecue lunch and about 10 to 12 glasses of iced tea and water. We sat around and talked for at least an hour afterward. Cindy was there with Jeff so I spent some time with her and Dave I. came over to say hello.
