Strong southwest wind has pushed the recent cool air back to Canada and brought in humid ninety plus degree weather. Wind was really whipping and legs still lack any snap so did some leisurely climbing west of town. Made another attempt up Dug Road and had a decent climb and avoided the wind as the entire climb is in the woods and only encountered the cursed wind as I made my way to the easy climb through Moreland. Worked up a decent sweat but the constant droplets probably never hit the ground as the wind spirited them away. Seems I had emptied my legs in the first ten miles of the ride and had little left for Bronson Hill. Granny geared up it then went into coast mode for the remainder of the ride to Townsend and back through Watkins. Really like the hot humid weather but it seems to wear my old body down quicker than it used to.
