Ride Description: Chequamegon Short & Fat Race: The worst I have ever felt on a bike.
I made the big mistake of starting to take my blood pressure drugs this week. As a result I felt awful all day. My chest tightened up right away, I felt light headed, my arms felt somewhere between slightly numb and tingly all day.
I did however make every climb, but I did stop for some Shot Bloks after climbing Big Bertha, But I had a hard time chewing, I was bad.
Sue waited for me early on, but I told her not to wait. She finished better than last year.
A light rain started about 7 miles into the race. OFFICIAL RACE RESULTS: Time: 01:53:19.3 / 8.47 avg. / Overall: 740 of 846. Men: 532 of 571 / 47th of 50 Age Group - Men 50-54.
