 ICAR with Erica
I met my little buddy Erica at Whole Foods on Woodruff Road to check out the twice monthly family ride through the ICAR. It was lightly raining and we found nobody that was associated with a ride. We waited until after 6 o'clock and took off in a very light rain. The course that we rode is about 4.5 miles per round trip and we made 3 round trips plus a little extra to ride 14 miles. This route has some hills that really challenged both of us. The rain stopped shortly after we started the second loop but the route was still wet and the bikes threw water and grit all over us. Erica said that she was really feeling the burn when we finished. It was a good ride and the hills really took the starch out of me.
