After work I felt lousy, but decided to hit the trail and get at it. So it was out east North Street to Cleveland Park, around the park on Woodland and the hill by the dog park, then across downtown to River Street and the SRT. While waiting to turn onto River Street there was a fixie waiting to cross River street. It took me 3 cycles of the light to make the turn as traffic was backed up through one cycle, then a pair of ambulances took up the next cycle. I would have passed the fixie at Bramlett but one of the motorcycle cops was across Bramlett and I had some questions for him. We had a very good talk and he gave me his card with numbers to call on it. He did tell me that every single moped that they have stopped on the trail ended up with the driver in jail for outstanding warrants. I had been fighting a slight wind until I was approaching Blue Ridge, then it blew up like everything. The rest of he ride north was a real struggle against the wind. I stopped at the gazebo for a drink, then turned around and headed south. The ride back was pretty easy with the wind until I got off the trail, then the wind shifted and I fought it the rest of the way home. I got home very tired but it was a good ride.
