wet roads to start, rain from mile 30 to 65 |

Today's route would lead us from Milwaukee to Shaboygon; the weather had rained in the wee hours of the morning, and called for more rain throughout the morning and clearing in the afternoon. Roads were wet when we rolled out of the hoeel parking lot this morning, and there was drizzle now and then, until about mile 30 when it was a constant rain, and stayed that way until about mile 65 - right before the lunch stop.
In the middle of that, while riding in the rain, I would shift my position on my bike and notice my bike shorts felt a little heavy in the backside, and the notice that they felt very, very wet.
Saw a break in the clouds about tem miles after lunch, which was about 10 miles before the end of the ride. Tomorrow's forecast is for clear skys and temps in the 60's.
Today's pictures are: 1) my bike in the bike case (actually taken Thurs night), to help me remember how I did it to get it up to Milwaukee; 2 & 3) the rain coming down at the second rest stop (mile 42) as others are getting ready to head out on the road to lunch; 4) a view down the road, making my way to the lunch stop.
