Tour de Shunk was scheduled for today, but due to recent flooding it has been postponed until Oct 16. Disappointed to miss the ride but legs are very sore from yesterday's race at Picture Rocks so it would have been a difficult task to complete. Got started late in the day and had thoughts about doing a century on the Schuyler County Course but only had the time and legs to do the first seventy miles of it. Course has a quite a bit of climbing but most of the rough stuff is in the last thirty miles so I only did the fluff side. Not a bad day but still on the cool side. Saw more riders than usual but still not a great amount. Saw a pair of riders in Cayutaville, a female rider coming down CR 1 and then three solo riders on 227 outside of T-burg. None of them were going my way so spent the day riding alone. Rode at a slow pace and about the only time I got out of the saddle was on the flats riding back to the house as it just got too uncomfortable to sit on the saddle anymore. It is a great ride but I was happy to bail after seventy and put my legs up.
