Sun finally returned and the south wind that has been blowing hard the last few days has brought in some warm weather. Felt tired before riding but had to get going as rain was forecast for the afternoon. Rode along the lake to Dresdan and caught a strong tailwind all the way. Had some sharp pains in my thigh on the first climb and was concerned I might have some damage but within a mile or so I was having pain in the opposite calf, so it appears to be a system problem rather than a component. Most likely it is either a virus or dehydration. Drank a bottle immediately on the assumption I was running a quart low and kept the pace slow. Wind was brutal on the climb up 14A coming out of PennYan and it seemed to take forever to get to the top of the hill. Stopped in Dundee and topped off before climbing the last hill of the day. Hated to feel so poorly on such a sunny day especially with several rain systems heading this way.
