I received a birthday card in the mail today. Nothing to strange about that, as my birthday was yesterday. The return address shows that it is from John Bowman in Vista, CA. Nothing to strange about that. My initial thought was that John was carrying on with what Mom would do. Then as I opened and read the card, there was a hand written words and it was signed - all in Mom's hand writing. That maybe a little strange - Mom died on 9/5. I guess she had just prepared somethings ahead of time.
This is about as strange when I was writting my blog entry on 6/17/09, and typing a sentence about how my friend Phil Loder had passed away and as I was typing it that very sentence my cell phone rings and the caller ID shows that it is Phil calling me. Actually it was his wife, Tracy, using his phone...
