...IKEA Wins.
Yesterday we returned the IKEA sofa, (because they gave us the wrong one) it was a bit of a hassle, But the loveseat we came to get was now on sale! So we bought 3 loveseats, a coffee table, 2 end tables and a storage cabinet and saved $1200.
They are discontinuing their cloth Kramfors line of sofas, so everything was 50% to 60% off. Then because of another mess up they threw in a free slipcover for one of the loveseats.
We had to have everything but the floor model (They don't deliver floor models) delivered. IKEA don't like to keep things in the warehouse so they were going to deliver the stuff on Saturday. Problem was, we wanted to do the Fall Color Festival mountain bike races at Kettle Moraine on Saturday.
It rained Friday night, so we thought the races could be postponed, but they were not. I heard it was a little sloppy and they shortened some of the races.
So, we missed the races waiting for the delivery truck to bring us our new IKEA living room.
It looks nice. But racing at Kettle is more fun. And costs less.
And now I have a comfy place to sit in my studio.
