After arriving home from work, I mowed the front yard - only the second time its been done since the 4th of July thanks to the hot, dry summer. I then had enough time to break out the battery backup unit that arrived to day and get the downstairs computer & equipment supported by it. Then it was time to get changed and head out for the start of the fall softball season.
We were a few players short, so invited a couple players that just finished playing the two early games to stick around & help us out. We had a good night, winning both games. All night the score was going back & forth. We ended up winning the last game by scoring 3 or 4 runs in the bottom of the last inning, and having a 3 run lead going into bottom half of 2nd game's last inning we hung on to win it too.
The temp was 'mild' (mid-70's) and fairly humid, so my clothes were drenched at the end of the night.
