Ride Description: FATTY 500

Rain Thursday and Friday made trail conditions slick and soft so I could only average 7.5 mph (riding time) the first 3 hours. The rain also delayed tent setup in the quarry until Saturday morning, delaying my start time by several hours.

After the Sun came out most of the trail dried out except 100 ft. of the backstretch which stayed soft and sapped the energy from my legs. Mulch helped but it stayed soft all day. Dan McCaherty rode all day with me and Scott Peterson rode for a few hours. Facebook Event info... https://www.facebook.com/events/553202588122111/
