First was my lunch bag falling of the top of the rack about a mile from my house, and the end of one of its bungee cords got caught on the spokes then wrapping around the axle - I had to cut it to get it off as the other end was still in position on the rack.
The second happened about a mile or so from work, there were some problems with my rear brake, which might have been induced by the bungee cord incident earlier, and then became further complicated when the post part of the brake device was mounted to broke. I knew my options were limited since my multi-tool is in my other bike (I need to buy a second one so each bike has its own), but was able to partially disassemble it so I could oomplete my ride to work. At work, I was able to get an allen wrench I needed to reassemble my brake, so I should be good for the ride home this evening.
