I left the house intending to ride the Swamp Rabbit to TR and back but didn't make it. I rode down East North Street and turned onto Laurens Road to get to the park. The next thing I knew I was sitting in the grass with two men talking to me and Cis was pulling up in the car. Nobody saw what happened but they suspect that I was clipped by a car. They saw me make the turn, then the next they saw was me laying in the street. I am a little beat up especially on the right side. My right hip is very sore and the right thigh is pretty swollen, there is a goose egg over my right eye, I have road rash on the right calf, right thigh, right elbow, and the right side of my face. My left shin was scraped on something and my left thumb is sprained. The bike looks okay. The hoods have been twisted some and the bar tape is scraped up on the left side. There are a good ten or twenty minutes of memory that have disappeared. I really don't know what happened. Those that were there said that I was talking but very incoherent. I don't know how they got ahold of Cis. I may have given them our number but it is also on my Road ID. The doctor says that I have to stay awake at least 8 hours, so I can't go to bed until after midnight. Until then I will keep ice on my head and my hip. Cis will keep an eye out for other concussion repercussions.
