Today I rode to Petco. I went to Cleveland Park and took the Laurens Road Bypass, then went through Gower to Verdae to the ICAR. I had about 20 pounds of stuff in the panniers going, but had about 50 pounds returning. I was also very long at Petco. We have 4 cats. One is depressed and one doesn’t like other cats. So I was a long time cleaning and dealing with them. Then I loaded the panniers from Petco and also from Whole Foods. The bike is real squirrelly with that much weight (all on the rear). It was also lopsided with the right side being heavier than the left. I can’t stand up to pedal as it rocks so hard that it wants to throw me off. I rode back to Verdae and Gower, then got on the trail behind Greenville Tech. I rode through Falls Park and stopped Papi’s and had a fish taco and a chorizo taco. I made a little loop to get my 25 miles. I rode the trail north to Bramlett then cut over to Washington Street and rode by the post office to butler then took that route home. I climbed the big hill on East North street today.
