 Petco, OBR, SRT
Today I loaded the Surly with my cat kit and a towel and lamb's skin to take to Petco. I road to Cleveland Park and took the Laurens Road Bypass to McAlister Square then cut through Gower to Henderson, where I nearly turned to go to BIll's. But I crossed Laurens Road and cut through Velo Apartments to Verdae. I followed the Verdae Trail past Embassy Suites. i turned there and road to the ICAR road and took it to Petco.

I took care of three cats at Petco - DJ, BJ, and Blue Eyes. I bought three bags of Greenies for the cats. Then I went to REI and bought some chain degreaser and some dry chain lube. After that I checked Whole Foods and bought a loaf of Ancient Organic Bread. I road from there through the ICAR and took Millennium Road out and back then road past J L Mann and St Joe's high schools. I rode back my old route then took Cleveland by the Y and took my route and dropped down to Cleveland Park where I passed the F-86 and took Cleveland to Camperdown and Falls Street. I took Broad Street to Washington across the Hampton Avenue Bridge and by Hampton Station where I took the Orange Line to Old Buncombe Road. I followed it to the Old Union Bleachery neighborhood and took the Lakeview Spur back to the trail. Just before I got to the Swamp Rabbit Cafe, an old man wrecked an electric bike underneath Cedar Lane Road. He went down hard and his wife was in a panic about it. He has some road rash and he'll be bruised later. I stopped at the Cafe and was going to eat lunch, but it was 3:45 and Cissi wanted me to come out to Greer and pick her up. So I bought a bag and pork rinds for me and a peanut butter chocolate chunk cookie for Cissi. I headed back down the trail knowing that I was going to be late to pick up Cissi. I went right down the trail and stopped at the zoo for a drink and to turn on my blinkies, when Cissi called to say that the car had fixed itself, but she was going to the dealer, but likely wouldn't need a ride. I had a hard time getting to the turning lane to turn on to Laurens Road. When I went up Hillside Pat was outside with His boys Michael and Andrew. I talked to him for a good bit.
