I am experimenting with a schedule that I am hoping will yeald more than the present schedule of riding three times per week.
Using the rational that longer rides are better for me than shorter rides three times per week; the new schedule is ride at least an hour to an hour and a half, which is what I did today, and rest for two to three days in between rides. For instance, my next ride will be Monday, three days from now.
The theory is that if I let the legs rest and fully recover from the ride, that I will perform better overall and have noticably more stamina through out the ride.
Of course, as they say; we shall see.
