I rode the Surly from home to Main St, then out Dreamland, Old Rockhouse, then into Travelers Rest and came south on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Jerry called while I was on Dreamland and caused me to miss downshifting, so I had to go back down that hill and start up the previous hill to get my shifting straightened out. I came back down the trail, but climbing those hills on the Surly was a challenge. I stopped at the Swamp Rabbit Café and bought a bag of wax beans. I had them make a roast beef sandwich into a salad, and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich for Cissi.
