I drove to Mt Calvary’s parking lot outside the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. I rode south about 3/4 mile and ran into Jeff there. We headed north and started up the trail. We rode around the lake at Furman when Jef started getting a series of phone calls. We made it around the lake then headed up the trail. We rode on out to the end of the trail and my phone started ringing. It was my friend Short Bobby, so I called him while I was at the north end and while taking to him a yellow jacket bit me under the right arm right through my jersey. I was already feeling funky from a silent migraine and the bite really added to that. We rode back to Travelers Rest and stopped at the Caboose behind the Whistle Stop Cafe and I had a strawberry smoothie and Jeff ordered a shaved ice that he didn’t like, so he ordered a smoothie to follow the shaved ice. We rode down the trail to the Swamp Rabbit Cafe where I had a Cream de la Corn Pogacha and a Rosemary Peach smoothie. My right arm was really starting to swell and I was feeling extra funky by then. We finished at the cafe and rode down to Linky Stone Park where I left Jeff and I rode back to the truck outside the Cafe. That was the end of a funky ride.
