I rode the Trek from the house to Cleveland Park by the zoo for Ken’s Sunday Ride. Four of us rode today - Ken, Steve S, Kimberly, and me. We did our normal ride. I was dropped climbing the hill in the parks. And I was cut off several times in Falls Park. I am determined not to chase the group and wear myself out, so I slowly pulled them in. Once we were together I took the lead and pulled the group for about 4 miles. We looped the lake at Furman then rode on to TR. We stopped at the Tree House and I had a Mystery Machine Smoothie. I also bought a pair of chocolate chip cookies and a brownie for Cissi. The ride down the trail was much of the same with one or two people pulling or running away from the group. Kimberly left us at the Cafe. Once back in the parks we circled the old dog park and looped the old stables area. Ken was parked at the tennis courts while Steve rode up Washington Street and I headed to Laurens Road to climb the big hill home.
