I replaced the damaged tire on the CCX,installing a comparable tire on the CCX's front wheel. Then I decided to do a speed comparison while testing out the tire.
Comparing the speed for each Interval using 2 bikes:
The 1st of 2 intervals was on the Globe.
The 2nd interval was on the CCX.
By way of just a bit of comparison, the CCX's clearly superior use is for fast efficient commuting.
