 And So It Goes
I would like to finish this year below 1000 in the rankings, but it is really slow going. It's only a 50-50 chance that I will get to the goal. I'll just keep trying and we shall see.

Today I finished 20 miles in near record time of 1:45, one of my fastest times for 20 this year. This, despite the wind and the cool temps, and the nagging feeling that I was having a lousy ride. I guess that's what it is when fighting the wind and cold on some days.

Joan is out of the hospital for two days now after her operation. I don't know how the healing is going, but I can tell you that she is in considerable pain, even with the pain killer pills. Better times are coming for her.

Another interesting thing with the bike is that I have some 8 to 9,000 miles on the tires, and they still look new. Good ole trek slick tires.
