To promote exciting outdoor activities through the use of digital photos, videos, clinics, and events. We believe that outdoor recreation is a catalyst to a happy and healthy lifestyle. The team works hard to generate interest and motivate others to participate in outdoor sports.
TEAM MOTIVATION
Team NRC/PedalMasher is by far the most active race team in Texas. Our race season never stops. We compete nearly every weekend throughout the year. In our first year, our members have competed in over 150 events! Ranging from grass roots events to the XTERRA World Championship in Hawaii. While most other teams are winding down or gearing up, we are hitting our stride and setting new goals.
The one two punch of New Revolution Cycles and PedalMasher.com sets a new standard for building awareness, motivation, and enabling others to participate and compete in outdoor sports. PedalMasher.com uses state of the art technology to film races and rides to create inspiring and motivating videos. These videos can be downloaded at PedalMasher.com at no charge.
Countless emails communicating personal thanks and gratitude have been sent to the team for the inspiration it has created to get people riding and racing. Rarely does an event go by where our members are not thanked, congratulated, or approached to talk about the difference we make in the racing community. New Revolution Cycles is the enabler that provides the equipment, knowledge, and service to equip new riders and old with what they need to start and continue their ride to success.
We genuinely believe that what we do makes a difference in peoples lives. That is our motivation to compete and grow as a team.
TEAM HISTORY
In the fall of 2003, co-owners and fellow racers James Webb and Jay Ellis decided to take racing to the next level by combining their resources to create a grassroots racing team capable of competing in the toughest events against fierce competition. While being competitive, it is their philosophy to instill the ideal qualities and behavior of fair play, good sportsmanship, athletics, and good spirit among their members and the people they compete with. Their goal as a team goes beyond winning. It is to be respected, admired, and role models within their communities.
Team NRC/PedalMasher is a Texas based team with male and female members ranging from 10 to 60 years of age. The team does not limit itself to a single discipline of competition. Its members compete in events ranging from road biking, mountain biking, on and off road duathlons, triathlons, XTERRA's, time trials, track racing, cyclocross racing, multi hour events such as 6, 12, and 24 hour team racing, endurance racing, adventure racing, charity events, and fund raising. Our members compete individually and as a team to win series championships and overall title events. We actively participate in and support charities and events such as Ride for the Roses, MS150, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and the Ride of Silence.
The goal of the team is to compete in as many different events and disciplines of racing as possible and win series championships.
