A New Bicycling Initiative for Lancaster County Youth!
If you're riding your bike this summer we want you to join Club CYCLE SMART! You don't need a fancy odometer to participate in the Club, we work on the honor system so make as good an estimate as you can and log those miles. ALL bicycling activities count, rail trail rides, mountain bike rides, competitive events, even a ride to a friend's house or to the local park or Recreation Center, you just have to Ride Your Bike! When you participate in CYCLE SMART sponsored activities like our Weekly Bicycling Classes or the Monthly Bicycle Derbies you'll receive 5 Bonus Miles for every 30 minutes you attend these activities. If you form a cycling group by signing up THREE or more of your friends you'll receive a cool bicycling related prize from us (maybe an odometer!). Email us at cyclesmart@dreamrideprojects.org as soon as you sign them up. The Top Three Mileage Winners win a minimum $50.00 shopping spree at a local Bike Shop! Other random prizes will be given out throughout this summer, all you have to do is log those miles on your bicycle! The Summer riding season for Club CYCLE SMART ends September 21st.
