Alameda Velo is more of a training state of mind, not a full service bicycling club. Our goal is to train for the bigger cycling events around California. If you are training for your first century, Alameda Velo is not the club for you; many of our training rides exceed a century in length. However, if you have several hard centuries under your belt, and crave to do more, we may be the club for you! Each year we train hard for events such as the Death Ride, the Climb to Kaiser, some Double Centuries, and sometimes even CycloSportif events in Europe. Currently we are League of American Bicyclist affiliated and have insurance.
