Stillwater Red Dirt Pedalers

The Stillwater Red Dirt Pedalers is a bicycle club in north central Oklahoma. We have regular Saturday morning club rides in the area, a faster pace afterwork ride (Fastboyz) west of Stillwater on Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30pm in the summer, and we have an easy pace ride for the women on wheels (WOW) in Couch Park on Tuesdays at 6:30pm.

Our club members often attend one-day "T-shirt" tour events, the week long Oklahoma FreeWheel in June, and we host three bicyle events: The Tour of Payne on July 4, the Lake McMurtry Challenge (MTB) in February, and the Larry Schwartz Memorial Tinbutt 12-Hour Meltdown in July.

We have a great monthly newsletter called Wheel Issues that has entertaining and informative articles such as our club Ride Wrap-up, Bike of the Month, Bicycle Mechanics, Red Dirt Dirt, Top Ten Lists, humerous photos in Signs of the Times, upcoming events in "On Down the Road", reports on club activities, and a monthly event calendar.
