Comments: Club ride to Mountain's Edge. Four other riders for a very casual ride.
Motorist nearly hit me as i was waiting to make a left turn. He made a left crossing my path and cut the corner so his car was only six inches from me.
Oh, my central shifter battery died so I was a little late getting to the start. |

| Comments: Club ride to Jean with about ten riders. I did better than expected since there was a lot of wind. |
| Weather Conditions: Winds 12 to 15. Tailwinds on the way out, but headwinds on the return. And COLD! I trailed the leaders on the way out, but was among them on the way back. Once I hit the downhill I could have dropped everyone, but tried to give a little draft instead. The recumbent doesn't give much though. |

Same ride as two days ago with similar stats, but I felt I was pushing harder today. |
| Weather Conditions: Warm enough to only need one layer. I started with arm warmer, but took them off mid ride.
Winds were very low to start but when we got into the open we had headwinds of 10 to 15 mph. Where I did 32 mph two days ago, I only did 25. |

Casual with sprints.
On the return, I showed the group the trail and bridge that goes under Arroyo Grande Parkway. We didn't have to deal with street traffic. |

Comments: Jean / Red Rock century with five other riders. Again the winds were much higher than forecast. Colder too. Headwinds to start heading to Jean. I had to potty stop several times in the early part of the ride. Not sweating it off.
I didn't know if I could do the whole ride, but I stayed with it. First century in two years.
