Comments: Mountain's Edge solo. First full ride on new Quattro recumbent. Seems slower than my Carbent Ravent. Doesn't seem to coast as fast. It may need a brake-in period.
I felt worked during the ride, but later work on the bike had me dropping things. the bending blew out my quads. |

| Comments: Club ride to Pedal & Pour. I had several problems this day. Idler gear chain guard came loose to make tinkling noise, shift battery died, spring in cleat broke, and I got intermittent thunking with spoke echo noise when I braked. Otherwise moderate effort. speed is down due to walking to place to fix cleat. |

Tough ride on the new bike. I was looking for a lower gear on the steepest climb. Maybe only 7%. legs are spent. |

| Weather Conditions: Start at 46° with little wind. I should have worn my wind breaker, because I got really cold. I thought it would warm, but it wasn't much. Downhills were especially cold. |
