| Comments: Started on the Tucson Loop from hotel at Campbell Ave. Rode SE on trail, 1st hr+ was slightly uphill and dead into the sun. I couldn't direction on the Garmin so I had to stop MANY times to figure out where I was going. 1st/last 7 miles were on incredibly shitty pavement, almost as bad as frost heaves in norhtern Wis. Harrison road trail was very nice. Felt terrible with no power on the bike today. Was totally wiped when I got back to hotel. No food or water during the near 3 hr total time ride probably didn't help. Much hillier and shittier pavement than expected. ATemp:72F, 1100' vertical! Probably 8 stops to figure out where the path went while riding straight into the sun. |
