Comments: Very social ride on TT! Met (Jeff?) on a Ti Aero. He shwed me the Bremermann/Lemieux loop. Then mat Jon and rode down to pier at State Park. Was time constrained and sprinted last 5 miles. Was nice to ride with others at an easy pace. ATemp:77F

Comments: Rode from Abita Springs to get in 50, then met Flea/Anna/Walt at Brew Pub, then Abita tour. Heat beginning to build, ATemp:82F, but felt fairly good until very end. Added M/L loop. Felt fairly good and spun to limit heat issues

Road
MBBC (Manly Bulge Bicycle Club)
Comments: Rode TT from Slidell, ona VERY muggy (MDP:75F), ATemp:85F, warm morning (after Flea left). Suprised to keep HR so low considering heat and relative speed. Hot but not horrible yet

42.40 02:22:00 17.92 145 Road: Flat Bacchetta CA 3.0 Disc
Road
MBBC (Manly Bulge Bicycle Club)
Comments: TT ride from Slidell on an incredibly HUMID morning (MDP:77F, ATemp:84F). Completely drenched from sweat after ride, drained sweat from seat after ride. Definitely lost some form after the relatives left, shitty/rainy weather and pre-market house stuff.

46.40 02:46:00 16.77 134 Road: Rolling Bacchetta CA 3.0 Disc
Road
MBBC (Manly Bulge Bicycle Club)
Comments: Ride from USM on LL after a night of nearly no sleep in a shitty hotel room. New paving on trail on the long climb. Had to walk around barricades, ponding water on new asphalt made a mess. Near end of ride shifting in smallest gear went to shit. Pretty shitty ride overall. Was not motiviated to ride hard. I did chase a couple coupple up last climb which helped a bit. 800', MDP:73F. VERY humid morning but not as hot (ATemp:73F). Completed drenched jersey again but not percieved as bad as last TT ride (MDP:77F).

Comments: Mandeville TT ride on a VERY humid hot morning (MDP: 78F). Was profusely sweating before 1st pedal stroke. Wanted to ride 50 but got a bit overheated and took it easy last 5 miles. Felt like shit most of the ride. ATemp:83F, heat index over 90F at end.

Comments: Slidell TT ride on an even more humid/hotter morning than yesterday (MDP:79F!!). Started slightly faster than yesterday morning, but overheated MUCH quicker! Overheated at I-10/playground. Way worse than yesterday, but legs felt a bit better. actually sat on a 4-person paceline from I-10 to Mandeville at 20+ mph. Then overheated again at bayou. ATemp:85F. Just spin in after Mandeville. SLowest ride of the year?!

(Sun)
20.40 01:40:00 12.24 143 Road: Rolling Rans Alterra 29
XC Rigid
MBBC (Manly Bulge Bicycle Club)
Comments: Got back to Co late previous night after forgetting keys in MS, paid $800 for locksmith..grrr... both the CA2 and Carbent had mechnical issues. Got up early to ride Chatfield on a Sunday morning. 0630 was just barely early enough, packed on way back. Garmin indicated 1700' vertical, probably more like 700'

(Mon)
23.10 01:25:00 16.31 136 Road: Rolling Bacchetta CA 2.0 700C
SWB Bent
MBBC (Manly Bulge Bicycle Club)
Comments: Fixed rear brakes on CA2, so rode at Chatfield as a shakedown ride. The CA2is way too small for me, seat presses into back between shoulder blades, but at least I have something to ride in WY/CA. Went relatively easy. 700' climb. Low humidity is awesome! ATemp:66F!
