Comments: To Mountain's Edge Park. Moderate effort. I had problems with HR monitor, new tailbag, and tried bike stand system for when there is nothing to lead against.
HR monitor wasn't reading, so I had to re-pair it. Tailbag sagged into my rear wheel, so I had to try a zip tie to keep the bag away from the tire.
I used cord and two stakes to prop up my bike. It slipped and fell the first time, but I got it the second. Had to straighten the steering and left brake lever. |

| Comments: Club ride to Mountain's Edge. Mix of casual and sprints. I beat most of the others to the part so I did an extra loop. Other riders surprised me on the climbs, so I had to dig deep to catch them. We lost a lot of momentum in two places due to traffic lights. |

Comments: Club ride to Lake Las Vegas and return via Wetlands Trail. Lake Las Vegas loop is still steep. The Wetlands Trail is getting very bumpy where asphalt or cement sections are separating.
The steep East entrance to the trail was not as hard as I had expected |

| Comments: To Jean and back. I struggled on the way out, then flew back. 19 mph on a 1.4 % upgrade. |
| Weather Conditions: Start at 72° Winds were crazy! Started against me in town about 6 mph. It felt like the winds picked up to about 10 mph or more, but at Jean the flag was sagging. Coming back I must have had a tailwind to go that fast uphill. Back in town it was calm. |

I was frustrated on the trail by an electric biker who was honking at us to make way for him to pass. I don't think he had pedals, so it was an electric motorcycle. |

| Comments: Solo through Red Rock Canyon. Moderate effort. A motorist yelled at me "Wow, impressive!" Another one kept honking his horn and yelling at me when there was no other place than the sidewalk to ride. |
| Weather Conditions: Warm with changing winds. I noticed wind when I turned onto highway 159. That meant headwinds and hills.
It was really windy when I got back into town. I estimate 20 mph winds. |
