Comments: Club ride from Inspirada to Mountain's Edge. Originally was to go to Pedal & Pour, but the ride was shortened.
I tried a prototype visor. It was effective, but didn't stay in place in the wind.
I had a flat blow-out. I think due to a rock. |

Comments: Split Ends solo. I wanted an easy ride in preparation for a fast ride on Saturday. I went a little faster today than I should have, but kept it mostly casual.
I had a guy on a Harley come up next to me to tell me that from behind I looked like I was doing a wheelie.
There were eight places of construction constricting the roads this route. |

I felt strong at first, but later I bonked. I think I did not drink enough.
I took a little time and refreshments and felt good to finish. |

| Comments: Club ride to Late Night Trail head. Six other riders. Pace was fast even on the climbs. I couldn't keep up on the hills, but on the downhills I took the lead. |
| Weather Conditions: Start at 57° with very little wind. Coming back downhill from Late Night we had strong cross winds that were dangerous, especially when traffic block the winds intermittently. |

Comments: Club ride from Lake Mead Park entrance to Redstone and back. Lots and lots of hills. One was really steep, but my Garmin was in shadow, so I couldn't tell.
I did better than I expected. I went too fast on some of the downhills and braked a bit, especially with some cross winds. |
