| Comments: WELL... was run over by a 97 yr old lady in a Prius...she just drove straight into me at an intersection with no warning, no turn signal. Happened so fast I had no time to react. It was almost a miracle that I was able to walk away relatively uninjured. Bike did not survive at all. Front fork completely severed from frame. Added returned mileage as a credit. Cut up sore left hand, bruising, road rash on left leg, but nothing major very surprisingly. Was a beautiful day until the accident. Wish I had taken the Carbent!! |

| Comments: Was somewhat anxious at start of ride as it 2 weeks since accident and I was going to ride very near accident site. 1st time on this route. Not the most scenic at all. Has some traffic, roads mostly had wide shoulders but a few sketchy spots with some rough pavement. 1st half of ride mostly uphill, then easier on return.
