Fitness rider, commuter, and part-time roadie since 2002. I commute to downtown Chicago 3-4 days a week during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Weekends I like to do longer rides at local trails or Chicago's lakefront. I also enjoy organized rides and events. Interested in touring outside of the city pavement and beyond bike trails.

2003 Specialized Sequoia Expert (RIP)

Description: My first real road bike. Purchased in Aug. 2003. Retired from commuting Aug. 04 and now used for road and event riding only.
Sadly, this bike was damaged in a dog attack incident on 7/31/05 and is now retired. Dog owner gave me money to purchase a new bike in return for this bike. Transferred most of the upgrades I purchased this year to my new bike (LeMond Versailles).
