  We're at the same mileage, so I'm giving you a thumbs up! My husband and I live in Lynchburg, VA and love riding here. I re-discovered cycling about 16 yrs ago. Needless to say, from then on, I was smitten, taking any and all chances I could to hop on the bike. I have been commuting to work ever since (past 15 yrs). My most memorable days on the bike have to have been when I participated in the DC AIDSRides (Raleigh, NC to DC and Norfolk, Va to DC)…and so began the downward spiral into my cycling addiction.
My sentiments on cycling can best be expressed by a quote from L.Armstrong, “A day without a bike ride is an empty day for me”.
