Ride when I can work it in----wish I could work it in more----I'm try'n
Biking sure has changed. I bought my first new bike at 13 years old. I got $10.00 a week working at a tractor repair shop doing everything from cutting hitch pins with a hack saw to prep sanding prior to paint. I bought a banana seat Murry for $37.00. My last bike was $1200. I like my last bike much more than my first. I learned to ride by using friends bikes. I rode with bare feet and tore the front of my big toe a few times. I use shoes now! An eighty two year old neighbor once told me that he wished he could ride again-----use it or lose it I guess. Captian America (journal member) road on a ride with an 80 something gentleman. Now thats a full life. Ride On! |
