History:

Have been riding since very young. Kind of an oddball riding as a teen in the '60's. Got a serious in 2002 with the decision to do a half ironman triathlon. Now do tri's, duathlons, time trials and distance rides for pleasure.

Used to be a 2000 mile /year runner. Knees won't allow that any more. Long rides on quiet roads are keeping me going now.

2007 was an eye opener for me. This year (2008) I hope to do more long rides. The big goal is a new bike!!

2009 Second year on the Serotta. Goal is to hit 5200 miles again this year. Missed out on a century in'08 and would like to get one or two this year.

2010: Hope to have a healthier year than last. Biggest goal is to try to increase speed and climbing ability. 5200 miles again this year.
2010 rides: RU10, and hopefully a New England Century.
