Hi Juan162, I love your vintage folding bikes! The Raliegh looks great! I'm new into folders and currently I have a Montague MX. I appreciate it being a full size bike because it also doubles as my mountain bike. Oh and congrats on being randomly selected in the profiles area!

I had the pleasure of meeting and riding with Juan162 at Reunion 2007 in Watkins Glen, NY. This guy is great fun on a ride, he is always smiling and never says "die" on a ride. He calls himself a big guy on a little bike. I found it amazing that he could crank up those NY hills with limited gear options. He is all heart when riding. If you get the chance, don't pass up an opportunity to ride with Juan or swap stories, he is good at both.

1970 Raleigh Twenty
Folding bike |
Description: Highly modified raleigh twenty folding bike. If you haven't heard of them, google them and you will see that there is a small cult of followers who upgrade these little guys and love them. 3x7 SRAM dual drive drive train, new crank, new suspension fork, new brakes...the only thing that remains of the old bike is the frame. It's my main ride.

1965 Crescent Crescent
Folding bike |
Description: This is actually a take apart bike. I am actually just guessing at the age, but I think I am close. Right now I have it configured as a single speed. I use it mostly for errands. Future plans include a suspension fork and a 3 or 8 speed internal gear hub with cable couplings so I can still take it apart.
